Matt Marek

Matt is the former founder and CEO of Good Neighbor, one of the largest healthcare providers of mental health and disabilities services in Virginia. Through his love for innovation, Matt built a progressively unique organization that placed technology, design thinking, multidisciplinary teams, and integrated care at its forefront. In collaboration with Anthem, Matt also led the strategic planning efforts of implementing the first commercial technology and service delivery system for an in-home counseling program in the nation. Through the success of this partnership, this benefit is now offered in 14 additional states to Anthem commercial customers. Good Neighbor has received notable media features on Discovery Channel’s “Innovations” series, the television show “The Doctors,” and was acknowledged by Inc. 5000 as one of America’s fastest growing private companies. In 2021, Good Neighbor was strategically acquired by Sevita Health, a portfolio company of Centerbridge Partners.

As a consultant, Matt has worked with individuals and organizations such as Adidas, Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers, Scott Harrison of charity: water, Google, Spectrum Health, Cultural Intelligence Center and Starbucks.

As a speaker, Matt has spoken at various conferences and events for the American Hospital Association, Virginia’s Association of Health Plans and Harvard Business School, where he shared the stage with speakers from Global Fortune 100 organizations such as Google, BMW, Goldman Sachs and Coca Cola.
