Ed Kennedy

Mr. Kennedy brings over thirty years of global executive leadership and technology expertise to Fortune 500 companies and entrepreneurial technology-based firms. As both a public and private company CEO and Board Director, Mr. Kennedy has a consistent record of growing highly successful companies and is experienced at leading corporate transformations to exits and has successfully led numerous complex international M&A deals. Most recently, Mr. Kennedy was CEO of CENX before the company was acquired by LM Ericsson. Prior to CENX, Mr. Kennedy was CEO of Tollgrade Communications, Inc., which he took private to Golden Gate Capital. Mr. Kennedy also served as the CEO of Rivulet Communications, President of Tellabs North American Operations, and CEO/Co-founded Ocular Networks. Earlier in his career, he held executive positions at leading telecom equipment companies, including Alcatel and Newbridge Networks. Mr. Kennedy was also a Venture Partner at Columbia Capital, a venture capital investment firm advising investments into new and existing portfolio companies. Mr. Kennedy currently serves on the Board of Directors of Extreme Networks. He previously served on the Board for Avizia, Visual Networks, Hatteras Networks and Imagine Communications. Mr. Kennedy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
