David is a proven executive with over 25 years of financial and engineering leadership spanning early stage to Fortune 500 companies. He is currently Chief Financial Officer for Gifted Healthcare, a nationally recognized healthcare staffing company where he leads Finance, Corporate IT, and M&A. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Yes Hearing, a Blue Heron Capital portfolio company. Additionally, he is an Entrepreneur in Residence for the New Orleans based Idea Village, an Operating Advisor to Blue Heron Capital, and Founding Principal at 1872 Ventures. Prior to joining Gifted Healthcare, David was a fractional CFO for several private equity backed healthcare companies. He also was a key leadership member of SingleStone leading both organic and acquisitive growth. Before SingleStone, David served in various finance and engineering positions working in Europe, Asia, and North America. He holds a B.S. Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech and attended the University of Richmond for Accounting and graduate Finance. He and his wife Kate reside in Richmond with their two children.
