- Cliff recently retired as President and CEO of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, leading the institution for six years through its 100th anniversary and the nation’s 250th.
- Before Colonial Williamsburg, he was President and CEO of 22nd Century Group and, earlier, President and CEO of Philip Morris USA at Altria.
- Cliff also served as President of the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation and teaches at William & Mary, where he chairs the William & Mary Foundation.
- He holds four degrees from William & Mary, including a law degree, an MBA, and a master’s in history, plus a master’s in education from the University of Virginia.
