Carl Forsythe is Managing Partner of Emerald Grove Capital, LTD, an investment & advisory firm focusing on mentoring CEOs and growing early-stage companies. Previously, he was CEO of Globe Composite Solutions, LLC, an advanced design and manufacturing company that he acquired in 2004 and subsequently sold to ESCO Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: ESE) in 2019. He started his career at Ford Motor Company and shortly thereafter helped lead transformation efforts at public and private companies, leading to M&A transactions totaling $9.5 billion over the past 20 years. Carl has served on numerous community and for-profit boards and is currently a member of the Entrepreneurship Council at Cornell University, board director at STARC Systems, Inc. (a Blue Heron Capital portfolio company) and director at Share God with Us, Inc., a public charity that funds programs to equip and prepare at-risk, urban-centric young adults for earthly and eternal significance. Carl holds a BA from Columbia University and an MBA from Cornell University. Carl and his wife, Sandy, have three adult entrepreneurial children. They reside in Dallas TX and Cohasset MA.
